I took Charlie out to another park so he could try out snowshoeing before we returned the rental. He got the hang of it right away, but quickly wanted to test out different options.
Not a bad payoff for Rita’s first snowshoe hike!

During our full time RV travels I made the kids keep a hand-written journal. A typical entry for Charlie (in fairness, he was 5): “We got to a new campground. We went to a National park and got another junior ranger badge.”

Short but satisfying hike.
Beautiful day for a snowshoe hike in the forest.
Another successful morning ski trip! Chris took the kids to the Nevada side of Heavenly up at Tahoe (I skipped out this time). Long drive, but there were no lift lines and they got some good runs in.
